The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Public Private Alliance in an institution of the Paraguayan state as public policies, specifically in the company Petróleos Paraguayos (Petropar) whose main role is the distribution and commercialization of hydrocarbons and their derivatives. Taking into account this new type of contract that is increasing in the Latin American region, it is a tool that makes possible the joint participation of the private sector with the public sector for investment projects in road infrastructure, telecommunications, transportation, exploitation and commercialization of hydrocarbons and their derivatives. The type of research used is exploratory, the approach applied is quantitative, its design being non-experimental and the population used in this unit of analysis is Petropar with a non-probabilistic sample. The results indicate the feasibility of implementing this type of contract according to the variables analyzed and the sample population used in this research.
