This study aimed to determine the benefits of using linear programming and post-optimal analysis to improve operational resources and maximize the economic benefit of the Olivo Agricultural Production Unit, C.A., through the efficient distribution of sunflower, sesame, and sorghum planting areas. This led to an investigation of the effects of integrating both linear programming and post-optimal analysis on resource optimization at the Olivo Agricultural Production Unit, C.A. Methodologically, yield and investment data were collected through an interview with the producer, and a mathematical maximization model was designed and implemented using WinQSB software. The results showed that the initial optimal solution requires planting 48 hectares of sunflower, 36 hectares of sesame, and 6 hectares of sorghum; this maximizes profit to Bs. 6,621,469.00 across the 90 cultivated hectares, satisfying all operational constraints. Mathematical modeling is a strategic management tool that mitigates risk and uncertainty, providing scientific certainty for decision-making in agricultural production management.
